This Privacy Policy explains what information PhonePro (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use this website, why we collect it, how we protect it and the choices you have. PhonePro is operated by PhonePro, Islamabad, Pakistan.
- You can browse, compare and shortlist phones without an account.
- An account is needed only to write owner reviews. You sign in with Google; we never see your Google password.
- We do not sell, rent, trade or disclose your name, email address or Google account details to unauthorised or unrelated parties.
- We do not sell phones and we never ask for payment or card details.
- You can download your data, or delete your account and data, at any time from My reviews.

1. Information we collect
When you browse
You can use the catalogue, filters, comparison and shortlist without giving us any personal details. Like almost every website, our hosting server automatically records basic technical information with each request — your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the date and time, and the page that linked to it. We use these records only to keep the site running, secure and free from abuse.
When you sign in with Google
To write an owner review you sign in with your Google account. Google shares with us your name, your email address and a Google account identifier (a number that tells us it is the same account next time). We do not receive your Google password, contacts, photos or any other information from your Google account.
When you write a review
We store your ratings, your optional comment, how long you have owned the phone, and when you created or changed the review. Approved comments are shown publicly with your first name and last initial only; your email address is never shown.
Your shortlist and comparison
Phones you save with the heart are remembered in a cookie on your device or, when you are signed in, with your account so that they appear on your other devices. Phones added to the comparison are remembered only for your current visit.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, the optional phone number, the subject, the phone model you mention and your message, together with the IP address and browser type used to send it (to stop spam and abuse).
2. How we use your information
- to provide the website and its features (catalogue, comparison, shortlist, owner reviews);
- to make sure each person reviews a phone only once, and to let you edit or delete your own reviews;
- to moderate reviews and protect the site against spam, fraud, abuse and attacks;
- to reply to your messages and correct prices or specifications you report;
- to understand, in aggregate, which pages and phones are popular, so we can improve the site;
- to show advertising that helps keep the site free (see Cookies below);
- to comply with the law and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not use your email address for marketing or newsletters, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use as few as possible:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, but your shortlist and comparison will not be remembered. You can manage personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
4. When information is shared
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share, disclose or give access to your Google account details, name or email address to any unauthorised or unrelated party. Information is shared only:
- With service providers that run the site for us — our web hosting provider, our email provider, and Google (for sign-in, reCAPTCHA, Analytics and AdSense). They process information only to provide their service and under their own privacy and security commitments.
- Publicly, when you choose — an approved review comment is shown with your first name and last initial.
- When the law requires it — to comply with a valid legal obligation, court order or request from a competent authority, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or the site.
- If the site changes owner — in a merger, sale or transfer of the website, information may pass to the new owner, who must respect this policy.
5. How we protect your information
We follow widely recognised security practices to protect the information we hold, including:
- encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the whole site;
- sign-in through Google, so we never handle or store your password;
- protection against common web attacks (form-forgery tokens, safe database queries, security headers) and reCAPTCHA against automated abuse;
- access to personal data limited to the few staff who need it, with strong passwords, automatic lock-outs and an activity log;
- keeping only the information we need, for no longer than we need it.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if we learn of a security problem that affects you.
6. How long we keep information
- Account and reviews: until you delete them or your account.
- Shortlist cookie: up to one year on your device, or until you clear it.
- Contact form messages: for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and no longer than two years.
- Security records (such as sign-in attempts): normally up to 30 days, longer only if needed to investigate abuse.
7. Your choices and rights
- Download your data — in My reviews, choose “Download my data”.
- Correct or delete a review — edit or delete any of your reviews in My reviews.
- Delete your account and data at any time — in My reviews, choose “Delete my account”. This permanently removes your account, your reviews, your saved shortlist and your contact-form messages.
- Remove Google access — you can also remove this site’s access in your Google Account settings.
- Anything else — to ask what information we hold about you, or to have messages you sent without signing in deleted, contact us. We may ask you to confirm the request from the same email address.
8. Children
This website is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children. Owner reviews require a Google account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Where data is stored
Our website and its data are hosted by a third-party provider whose servers may be located outside your country. Google services may also process information in other countries. Wherever it is processed, we protect your information as described in this policy.
10. Other websites
Our pages link to other websites, such as manufacturers’ sites and advertisers. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their policies when you visit them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change significantly affects how we use your personal information, we will make it clear on the website.
